Yggdrasil works on Windows and an MSI installer is available, but the installer is supported on a best-effort basis only and is not well tested.
So.. Since apparently i have a Windows machine. Let’s test it.
First, download and install the Windows MSI installer here.
Go to C:/Program Files/Yggrasil.
Shift right click, open command window here as administrator.
Then type
yggdrasil -genconf > a.conf
The a.conf file will be generated. Open that file. Add the peers. Check the currently available peers at https://publicpeers.neilalexander.dev , pick the nearest peers.
Also, in my case, 9001 port is already used. So i have to change the AdminListen port to 9002.
Done. Back to command prompt. Now type.
yggdrasil.exe -useconf < a.conf
Done. You’ll get your static IPv6 address.
What’s next? Since now we got a static IPv6 address. Let’s try to make a website.
Okay done. Now let’s verify this website by using another device.
Well, it’s failed. Of course, we have to connect the Android to the Yggdrasil network first.
Download Yggdrasil for Android. Then, add the peers.
Then, connect it….
Then, access the website.
Done…
